Cool movie too. We just did an album all analog. Cool experience.

I worked there in 95-96. Met Petty, Campbell, Tench, Rubin, Billy Joe, Sheryl Crow, June Carter and JOHNNY FREAKING CASH for christ's sake. The place is hallowed. One day I walk in and Lemmy is playing pinball- just completely surreal. Weezer, Melvins, John Cale? Studio A gets the best drum sound on the planet.

Luckiest devil alive you are.

I didn't like the film because all the way through it there was like this "Ah man...You needed to be there to get how big a deal this is" vibe that as a person from a different time and country I couldn't get past.

Some of the songs on the new record are ok though.

It was a decent documentary for Grohl's first movie but way to much Rick Springfield for my taste. Seriously bigger acts could have been featured. Maybe Springfield help fund it to get some exposure.
