Soundcheck. 5 Basses (guess)

Just for the fun of it I've just put a little jam on Soundcloud.

I picked up 5 of my basses (details at the file) and am curious if there's someone who recognizes them. Basschange every 21 bars (yeah.. 21.. lol)

Squier Classic Vibe Precision
'73 Fender Jazz
'77 Fender Jazz fretless
OLP Musicman Stingray copy
Andre vd End Custom 5 (Jazz/Musicman hybrid)

Now, to be fair; All went directly into my Presonus Firestation into Logic Pro and went through the same channel strip settings (all I did was try to tame some volume differences).
The big difference is the bass, and the age of the strings on all of them Most are old though haha! All controls open on all of them, same sloppy playing on most of them aswell :P

Through computer speakers, so I don't have the best quality for to really judge, but here's my guess:

J fretless
J fretted
P
OLP
Andre

...so we're supposed to extrapolate what order they appear, right?

Squier Classic Vibe Precision
'73 Fender Jazz
'77 Fender Jazz fretless
OLP Musicman Stingray copy
Andre vd End Custom 5 (Jazz/Musicman hybrid)

That's my guess.

To be honest, I actually find it hard to hear the 'big' difference. I mean, I know.. but if I wouldn't know, I wouldn't be able to hear it that easily.
The fretless is recognizable, the Stingray copy aswell. To me anyway.

Maybe the channel strip makes them all sound a bit more alike. I've just been wanting to do this little $350-$2000 bass test for a while, wondering if you really hear the money invested ;p All of them sound 'acceptable' at least, with the OLP being the most outspoken, probably due to the new strings. It really has a different character.
