Shameless plug:

My CD Soundscapes is finished and on cdbaby.com

It's not a "bass album", just an album by a bass player.

There are a couple songs that are bass features, and a couple featuring my piccolo bass, and a few with fretless bass tracks as well. But I'd say it's more like non-jazz instrumental I guess. "New Age" is a term I'm not really fond of, but I had to put it in some category.

Lots of percussion (which I love), and lots of lush pads and textures. It's a collection of recordings I've done in my home studio over the years...sometimes for fun, sometimes because I wanted to try a new recording technique, sometimes because I bought a new synth and wanted to whip up a tune to use a new patch on.

Turned out better than I'd expected. It's one facet on my musical identity that I don't really get to express when I'm hired "just" to play bass.

Anyway, there it is. At the moment it's just digital downloads, will have physical CDs soon. Thanks for reading.
