Spookiest/Eeriest song ever?

Sign in to disble this ad
Which is the song(s) that you consider to be the eeriest ever?

I always thought Jon Hassell's work with Brian Eno made for some really scary music, e.g 'Shadow' from Eno's 'Ambient IV' album or 'Data Bintung At Jelong' from Hassell's 'Dream Theory In Malaya'.

Then I heard 'Musical Bovine Spongiform' by Nurse With Wound off the album 'A Sucked Orange'. Changed me forever.

Esther by Phish kinda creeps me out. It's spookier live but that could have more to do with the erm . . . environment.

The first time I heard Puttin' on the Ritz, I thought it would be the best song for a torture scene in a horror movie.

Still Life by Iron Maiden is a pretty creepy song.
