I found the Steely Dan album AJA at work a few months ago, and have been listening to it a lot since then. It was my introduction to Steely Dan, which I had previously heard of but not listened to. I love it.
Question: Are the SACD versions of the Steely Dan records worth the investment? Do they sound good? My record shop has Gaucho on SACD, are there others?
I recently bought a SACD player and figured I might go for the super versions right away.....

Over the decades, I have listened to a lot of great music by musicians of all genres with many fascinating albums. All of which I do grow tired of after a period of compulsive over-listening.
Never happened with Steely Dan, they are probably the only constant in the evolution (convolution ?) of my musical tastes.

Give a close listen to the groove on Bad Sneakers....Rainey rocks it!

Becker and Fagan really look like they are in a band there!
