Stereolab: Emperor Tomato Ketchup

I don't know if any of you are familiar with this band or album. To me this album contains some of the best basslines I've heard. Best as in they fit the songs perfectly and give it a vibe of its own. I was just curious if any other players used this album or band as an influence. Peace.

Not an influence as a bassist but for textures and general soundscapes I love stereolab!!!!!!

Amazing stuff. I've never sought inspiration from the Stereolab bassist, but the basslines are perfect. Great band.

Funny, I've recently been getting into this disc, after years of being kind of ho-hum/indifferent to it. The vocals are lovely and the overall sound is excellent. Good pop grooves.
