uhmmm ...seems like nobody wants to give an opinion.

pretty clean and fast, and certainly is not James Jamerson, but Steve Harris was the reason I pick up the bass 20 years ago

Huh, wow. Great stuff. Brighter tone than I imagined, with flats. Also less playing than I assumed, no chords. I though I heard chords in "Number Of The Beast," now I know differently. Thanks.

I love the tone on Number of the Beast. Very cool! Trooper is played well, but I don't like the sound of the bass on it's own. Great band IMO. I saw them in concert several times in my younger years.

Thanks for posting these. I wish more "bass only" recordings could be made for popular songs and groups. Its great hearing what Steve Harris is actually playing. It makes it easier for bass players to learn these songs. Which I will do.

I liked both songs alot!
