It's 2 separate bass tracks and an added harmonics track (those two squeal sliding harmonics)

I'll see if I can work out a tab when finals are over.

Maybe I should actually get some sheet music to make sure I'm playing it correctly. I'm just playing it by ear. :P

Great stuff, though there are some weird bits here and there(particularly the underground section), but overall it's solid.

I was actually just earlier today tinkering around with one of the mario themes, I'm not sure if I'll record it though, we'll see.

Man that is great stuff. Nice bright tone on the chordal stuff.
have you ever checked out some of the playing on GT3 (not the latest one). I am sure its a piccolo bass or something.
Some really nice chordal stuff going on there as well.
