This album kicks ASS!
It is weird at first...
I didn't like it until I heard the closing of soldier's side...
Then it suddenly became rad....
Mezmerize/Hypnotize together non stop should be rad. |

To each his own.

I've heard Hypnotize wasn't all that great, but I'll still give it a shot. |

I could tolerate the occassional background vocals from him on Toxicity, but now that he's almost singing lead on alot of songs, it's horrible.

I think Hypnotize is far better than Mezmerized but Daron I think, really needs to cut back on the singing, his voice is pretty annoying after a short while.
My fav System albums are the first one and Toxcity. Steal this Album was a joke and every copy should be burned. And the Mezmerize/Hypnotize are very "Meh" to me.
My $.02

My $.02 | I thought Steal this album was better than toxcity. But I expect I love it because Boom reminds me of playing Zelda on my Snes...

lowsound | if you listen to it from start to finish you'll dig.
It's one of those disks you have to do that with, when I first got it I was like uch, but when Soldier Side finished I was hitting play again

I saw SOAD on Uranium the other night being interviewed (went slightly better than the previous one) And they spoke of moving toward sharing lead vocals.
Something about how when the met the guitarist was a singer and Serg was doing keys. That was about the only useful thing learned in the interview, the rest of the time they came off as arrogant and silly.

The I almost bought mesmerize until I realized there was more of him singing on it.
