The Talkbass Ultimate Wedding Playlist

Ok my TBrethren,

I've already been to three weddings this year, and I'll be going to three more, and I'm standing up in yet another one- all before July. There will most likely be more before 2009 is over.

Two of the three I was at had crappy music, hardly anyone danced. I have some say at a few of these weddings as far as what music gets played at the reception. Now, most of what I like isn't gonna fly, so I need some help.

What songs would you put on the Ultimate Wedding Playlist? I need some songs that are gonna get girls out on the dance floor!

I guess I could put that in, if I wanted to make sure there was a break in the dancing and fun so I could go get drinks without missing anything

I play my '08 MIA Fender J-bass once a month in a casino lounge band (classic rock). Van Morrison's Brown Eyed Girl put the crowd on the dance floor--every time. Below are the hard-core dance floor fillers, Guaranteed.

Brown Eyed Girl - Van Morrison
Domino - Van Morrison
Mustang Sally - Wilson Picket
Twist and Shout - standard
Born on the Bayou - CCR
Green River - CCR

I also have three and a half sets worth of our regular tunes that are hit or miss with the dancers. I vouch for these.
