I think there have been several threads about this in either "effects" or one of the other topic areas. The general consensus seems to be that most people who have them are happy with them as a simple training tool, but others have pointed out cheaper and/or better computer-based utilities that can perform the same function.

I have one and use it quite a bit to practice things at night after the kids are asleep. I would highly recommend getting the power adapter for it if you do get one.

+1 on the power adapter. That thing eats batteries! That god I bought the power adapter at teh same time I bought the BT1MKII. I've used battery power a couple of times and you only get about 2 hours or so of life from a set.

Having said that, I love my BT1MKII. I use it pretty much every day.
