Fav/most talked about/Best/Perfect Album - whatever you want to call it. pick from the list what you think should be TB's #1 album. I read a lot of polls and threads to come up with the 20 most mentioned albums on talkbass.

one per artist, except I couldnt find a clear winner with the beatles, so they took the last two spots. way more love on this site for kind of blue. i tried to keep it pretty diversified like this site, some jazz, some classic rock, some newer stuff, some heavy metal, but also by year, stuff from the 50s and more recent stuff. i wish i could have had 10 more options.

we may do a round two for the ones that didnt make the cut. i have a feeling this is going to be a close race, but there may be a run away winner.

There's too many good ones on there. Had to pick DSotM because it's perfect from start to finish.

I can't believe Rush isn't represented. There should also maybe be a Bill Evans Trio option, i.e. with Scott LaFaro, at least in round two.

And no Yes? Poll is invalid without something on which Chris Squire played.

Yes, that 3-note motif is pretty hypnotic.

Hard call for me between Dark side and graceland. I consider both albums perfect but I went with the Floyd due to it resonating thematically a lot more than graceland.

I voted for Zep 2.
Thats the album that introduced me to the sound that is the bass guitar at an early age.

maybe people should say why they voted the way they did in hopes to encouraging new people in this thread to vote that way.
