Techno Band

I got bored the other day so me and a friend started a techno band. I pretty much make the songs and he does all the artwork and **** like that. The first two songs are the good ones. I made There And Back Again last night. Distractions is also pretty cool. My friend made depserate you can see why the song writing was left to me and Lifestyles is a joke song. The songs i wrote were all formed around the bass line(im a bass player ) so i think it makes a bit more unique. Tell me what you think.

It's pretty boring even for techno. No typical drum "swells" or really "techno" drums to speak of. Start with an 808 pattern and go nuts.

Check out Particle if you haven't already, they are most musically interested techno-esque music I've heard, but at the end of the day they are still techno.

You should check out The New Deal. They do some pretty sick tecnoish stuff with bass, drums, and a keyboard. What did you use to make the music? You should try using your bass and not a computer generated bass sound. It might be a more interesting.
