Have revisited this album recently and am really enjoying a lot of the bass lines. Just learned Speedy Marie tonight. Anyone else really like this album?

I looked up the bass player to see who he was...never heard of him. Eric Drew Feldman plays on almost all of the tracks with the exception of Fiddle Riddle which is played by Nick Vincent.

Anyone know much about Eric Drew Feldman? Type of bass played, fingers or pick etc.? I'd love to hear from some other fans.

Don't know much about Feldman beyond what's been linked in this thread.

TOTY is a good album -- I like the odd, "angular" changes Mr. Black/Francis/Thompson uses in his writing.

My band covers "Freedom Rock" on occasion -- fun tune.

YouTube bump. 120 Minutes Performance. Looks like a 70's Jazz, with a pick through an Ampeg head & an 8x10".

Love this album! One of the best rock albums of the nineties IMO. I used to do a solo acoustic version of "Vanishing Spies". Jeez, it's been almost 20 years...

TOTY with Frank's self titled album a close second. I've seen Frank several times. The character in the vocals just grab me. Always a good show! I like his solo stuff better than Pixies.
