Hey Guys!

I wanted to see what you guys think of my bands new recordings.
We recorded these in march.

lets see... some insight.

On the vocals, All 3 of us sing.

"I Once Said" - At the break in the song, i grab a Pick for that part but drop it once the song kicks in again. The part just called for that Picked sound to me, and I didn't want to use one for the whole song.

"Brand New Day" - I'm the louder voice in the song. When we sing the verses, I play triplets (Ring, Middle, Index. I know people who ask how i play em a lot. I will do R,M,I or sometimes i use Middle, Index, and strum back with middle)

"Look Around" - Instrumental. I dunno what to say about it. I use some chorus in the "chorus" part of the song... if that makes sense.

"Get Close" - Another vocal song, i dont think i have anything to really point out.

Gear:
Ibanez SR506 - Bass turned up a tiny bit from flat, Mids bumped a little more, and treble cut back a little. Both Pickups on. D'addario String on it (i don't like em, i have some Carl Thompson strings on the way. I want to try his strings out)

Boss GT6B (I'm slowly in the process of replacing it with single pedals)

GK 700RB Head
GK Backline 410

let me know what you think. Heres our myspace/music

Feel free to criticize, praise, question, and appreciate.

Excellent.

You guys have a pretty inventive and original sound. Definitely heard some Dead Milkmen and The Cure in there. Sometimes the vocals remind me of Home Grown. The song "Get Close" sounded kinda weird, like it was tuned differently, but otherwise really good songs.

I added you, and I expect to be notified when that EP is available!

Nice. I like it. It's poppy but not too sugary and there's more going on than in a lot of poppy punky stuff. I'm really digging the instrumental. You guys kind of have a Married to Music vibe (band from BC that has recently changed their name to Invasives) Not that you sound a lot like them but similar vibe. I could picture you guys doing a show together.

Thanks! I'm glad you guys like it.

Invasives are pretty rad. I'm listening to them right now. Hella energy and Nuts! I like it. I also could see us playing with them. Would be a lot of fun!

"Get Close" was weird because i learned it the day before, then when i went into the studio i had to re-learn it because my terrible memory ejected the song from my brain. It is weird though.

The more feedback the better! Keep it coming guys!

reminds me of "the presidents of the united states" kinda sound and a mix of some kind of surf/punk happy music.

Cool stuff.
