there are 3 6 string bass tracks (bassline, chords, melody/lead) one guitar track (melody double/chords) and drums.

i had a fear of everything sounding muddy and overstuff being that theres three bass tracks on there..but i think it sounds pretty clean? need some outside ears, listening from differnt speakers and such..

whatever your thoughts are, lay it on me.

Sick stuff man, it sounds awesome so far.

I do think it sounds a little thick, so I'd probably mix the background lines a little bit lower. It'd also help clean up the sound if you really locked stuff up. The time is a little bit loose. I've noticed that even "muddy" stuff can sound crisp and tight if it's in excellent time, and I think that this would take your work to a much higher level.

Your tone, ideas, and feel rock though.

I agree and I listened before reading the notes above. Less is going to be more with this. The time has to kill and you have come in and nail it on the beat. I guess kicking up the intensity a bit - the difference between saying it and meaning it is the best analogy.

Take this all lighthearted - cuz I think what you doing is Super Cool - and you are going make it even sweeter. Nice work!

i happen to agree that the drums and genneral rhythm wasent tight and clean. the way it was recorded was originally with a drum machine and then i played over the drum machine on the kit. i did one take and intended to do more but time diddnt really allow more than one take on each track...

up next im recording jordu in a latin feel. should be a party, i'll post it when its done.
