its pretty weird how these guys actually sound good, the style of their music sounds like it came from the 80s :P

if it had better lyrics, and was a bit longer, it would be even better :P

Jack Black is a very talented singer, and Kyle is a killer guitar player. You can tell that he has some serious chops.

Still, it kind of sounded like they phoned that song in.

Yep. It's a song about how they have a movie, and I'm sure it will be in the movie. That said, I'm STOKED to see this movie, it's going to be awesome.

Man, Jack Black must be one of the best new vocalist today... his range is amazing, and his voice is great.

Saw Tenacious D about 6 years ago. Was blown away. A buddy of mine dragged me out to a little comedy club in LA. Not knowing what to expect I kept finding myself cracking up and then proceeding to be amazed at (despite how frickin' funny it is) how good these guys were. Two very talented individuals. I'm stoked to see Jack Black come back to his roots and lift his buddy Kyle up now that he's officially become huge.

Supposedly Kyle Gass is the youngest graduate from Julliard ever, with a classical guitar degree at like 14.

Gonna see them at the garden december 1st! Can't wait!

i think they're good at what they do; but quite frankly, i'm getting tired of their LOL @ ROCK gimmick. it's getting old.

Yeah, I can't say I'm a fan of the song... just pushes the movie. I had pretty low expectations for the film for the reason mentioned above, and as I usually don't like jack black in movies even though I expect hilarity. Surprised its gotten so many good reviews around here so I'll have to go check it out.
