Test your ears - Aphex 661

Hi all,
I received a used Aphex 661 and I want to try it out on YOU:
I am posting these samples of me playing through:
F bass --DB680--Aphex 661 (Manual compression with a bit of high freq. expander engaged)--Behringer FCA202--computer

Can you tell the difference? which is which...

F bass 1 - new slap.mp3

F bass 2 - new slap.mp3

The same cables are connecting each unit. I took them in Stereo: one clip is from the DB680 while the other goes through the Aphex.
(One is totally bypassed and the other compressed.)
