A thank you to my father.

I realized after finding these recordings of my father how much he influenced me in music.

Thanks Dad.

From various phases in the last 10 years or so. I wish there was more footage of him in the 80's

OOOPS. I posted the same link 2 times. Now the 3rd link is what is was supposed to be.

WoW

I am just happy my dad played a lot of Fats Domino and other boogie and swing and jazz stuff to perk my ears up at an early age. Growing up in your house must have forged some awesome neural connections!

There's some really good Alex Lifesonesque stuff in that first vid with the full band. I dig it.

Am I the only one who thinks that that sounded alot like Tom Sholtz and Boston? Great playing, he definitely does not qualify as a guitard.

I thought the bass playing on the first one was simple but very very good and appropriate. The tone was also very nice. Could hardly hear bass on the 2nd one (the music sounded very weak LOL)

pretty good guiatrist and performer!

Wow, he does play pretty good.

I don't mean to be rude, but has he passed away?

He is still alive and kicking. The 3rd link is just a couple weeks/month ago.

Ya, he got tired of band mates not being responsible...so he recorded all the parts and used a drum machine. Then he turned everything but the guitar down...I mean 2 marshal 1/2 stacks???
