The next old news from a couple years ago, that never sounded anywhere near as good in reality as it did on paper?

Hate to agree, but I have to. I LOVE John Paul Jones, and dig Grohl as well but this group does nothing for me.

I thought I loved 'em at first.
I dig Dave Grohl and I like Josh Homme's work in QoSA.
As far as being prominent in the mix, I don't think JPJ has ever sounded better than he does in the Vultures. Having said that, I've already forgotten about them.

I dig the heck out of TCV. Or at least I did for about 6 months straight. Then I forgot about them until this thread.
