...in the past week? Maybe a song you've just discovered and have to hear one more time?
Mine: "Tip of My Tounge" by the Tubes; early 1980's.
A reasonably funky groove with some nice horn charts by Jerry Hey. The big LA sessions musicians, like Nathan East and the members of Toto are in the album credits so who knows who really played on the track. |

Everything from Mills Brothers, Andrew Sisters, Turtles, CSN, Eagles, America, Rockapella, Indigo Girls, etc. In that vien, there's a new Roches tune - not yet realeased but on their myspace site called "No Shoes". Great vocals, cute song, good message. No Shoes can be access from here: http://www.myspace.com/theroches
BTW, for those of you near Chicago who are into this kind of music, The Roches will be appearing December, 3 2006 at Old Town School of Folk Music 4544 N. Lincoln Avenue, Chicago.

That and Marisa Monte's Infinito Particular, once a day, every day, and several songs multiple times.
