"Think For Yourself" Rubber Soul bass demo

I find it hard to think of a better one two punch than Rubber Soul and Revolver. Here is my take on “Think For Yourself” off of Rubber Soul. Keep in mind that this is 1965!

I’m using my ‘69P, DR High beams and a SWR with a 1X15. As always, use headphones.

Thanks Dog.

You should have seen the bass when I bought it in 1971 in Buffalo. The fellow-kid who owned it- I didn't catch his name- (who very well might be a world famous bass player and Yamaha endorsing artist today... I leave it to the readers to connect the dots) started to burn the sunburst finish off with a blowtorch to "roadwear" it. You can still see the burn indentations and vice grip marks today. I refinished it in the early 80's. I routed the humbucker into it in the spring or summer of 1971.

Have fun with your playing.
