Not a fan of their music but their singer used to be sort of a "living stage prop" for my old band for a few shows. I found his older band Useless to be more interesting.

had no idea they were still around. i was a big fan of war all the time and everything before (jet black new year is still sick as ****). city by the light divided has some good ones too, but they kind of fell off my radar. just snagged common existence, but have no sound at the moment, so i will put it on a cd to listen to in the car. i give them credit for changing up their sound, as im not so much into the emo punk hardcore whatever genre as much these days. having gotten my ipod out just a second ago, i forgot how much good stuff theyve put out... thanks for the reminder.

Those were interesting days indeed. Especially when he used to dress up as the Chicken Man for a Jersey band called The Family Jewels.

I like Thursday a lot. I saw them in the late 90's in a basement with Pg99 and Crispus Attuks. They were AWESOME then. I still liked them as their sound became more mellow and they gained popularity.

Anyone checked out "United Nations"? It's Geoff's "emo-violence" supergroup band with members of Glassjaw, Converge, Made out of Babies, The Number 12..., and Acid Tiger. It's ooookay. Really fun in a novel sense... also bonus points for having a song called "The Shape of Punk That Never Came".
