Used the search bar and didn't come up with anything too relevant, so could someone give me a brief rundown of what they think makes up the bass tone from As Blood Runs Black? I love the heavy chug feeling to it and think it's some of the best bass tone I've heard in metal. It really helps the bass stand out from the guitars. im sorry but who else can cut through like he can? very few bass players in his genre...and this guy has chops for days his name i think is nick something

i can barely pick out the bass on this i wouldnt say it cuts through more than anyone else.

it hear it clearly...mostly the clicking from his bass

I hear the bass. Like you, I wouldn't say it cuts through. The double bass drum cuts through more clearly than the bass.

it's pretty hard to hear the bass to me too, let alone tone....
