Sign in to disble this ad
So my band is in the process of putting out our first album!!! We got all the levels right in the studio and then sent our mixes to mastering!! When the test master returned the bass is so prominent that now I'm worried that the bass might be too loud!!! HELP!!!! What do you think???

I don't think the bass is too loud. I think the volume is adequate although it is mostly a matter of taste.

Great song!
Amazing artwork!

Really in your face, but I wouldn't say too loud. Pretty close though.

bass too loud?

I say no not at all. Particularly if you are a trio or quartet instrumentally, it seems to balance the guitar and drums well.

Sounds fine here.... If anything, the vox might be a little light at times, but the instruments sound balanced to me....

Very nice, well balanced mix. I think the others are right above the vocals in some parts, though.

Definatly a good mix. Realy punchy

good playing too. 1 question though: did you get a tone that punchy using fingerstyle or a pick?

It is pretty close to too much...could stand to be taken down slightly.

Speaking as a bassist though...I like it.
