Since 2010 has passed by I'm wondering what your Top 5 favorite albums have been last year. It doesn't have to be an album from 2010 just something you listened to a lot during 2010.
For me I'd say:
1. Where Stories End - Darkwater
2. Animals As Leaders - Animals As Leaders
3. Fallen - For My Pain
4. Once -Nightwish
5. Images and Words - Dream Theater

The actual song Dimmu Borgir gets my award for best track of 2010, sooooo epic. Though in all honesty, not counting others on list and a few others, the competition was fairly weak at best, though i definately prefer 80's metal over all. Definately check it out dude

Those are the only two that stick out right now. I can listen to both of them repeatedly, and have been, and not get tired of them. Awesome tones and great mixing on both.

I love the song, I love Final Frontier, and I loooooove me some Maiden, hell, when I saw them live not too long ago, I would definitely call that one of the highlights of the entire show, but simply put, Dimmu got more plays on my stereo. But don't get me wrong I love the way they put the world in perspective and it has a great video, but I just enjoy listening to Dimmu more(though very marginally)

But really, in a year which saw a new Maiden album, nothing else should be discussed.

Endorsing Joiner & Ben Lindsey Basses - Maker: XB Custom Cables | | Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Twin Cities, MN | | My #1 thru #5 choices for album of 2010 was released in November, but originally recorded in 1989. I've been a fan of Richard Page since the 1st Pages album in 1978.
This has KILLER music, vocals, bass chops (Richard Page), drumming (Pat Mastelotto of King Crimson) and, of course, the incredible 80's synth sounds of Steve George... crazy good!
not affiliated, just a fan http://www.richardpagemusic.com/mr-mister/
