Have owned that + Volume 2(Blue cover) for quite awhile.

"In The Rain"(Track# 14) almost sounds a bit of place with the other hits.
Volume 2 has another great tune by The Dramatics("What You See Is What You Get"...covered fairly recently by John Scofield).

Anyway, I agree with you, Stax is happening R&B...still!

JimK, I just picked up volume two today, it's happening all the way........this is a must have for any bassist.
