Toxicity

I´ve been listening to SOAD´s new album, Toxicity for a while now. And there are many great songs there, but the thing that strikes me the most is how the album is masterfully produced. I´ve listened to it extensively with headphones and also I plugged a cd player to our PA system and listened to it at a pretty high volume. It´s really remarkable how the balance of the instruments+voice is just perfect. You can clearly hear the guitar, bass, and all parts of the drums, nothing seems to get lost in the mix.

THIS is how to produce/master/mix an album!

Great work from SOAD!

I never really thought about it before, but i guess it was done quite well. I still prefer the first one.

Rick Ruben really knows what he's doing, I can say that much. I've listened to it as well, and I'm with you Icez, the thing is produced excellently.
