I seriously use to make dark ambient music, now I don't know what I do, but it's not dark... but is sort of ambient.

New Jam = spllll

It's eastern
It's droney
It's funky
It's doomy
It's a bird

i like it--it sounds like if acid generated audio...

anyways, it sounds very glitchy and electronic--have you gotten into synths?
not like keyboards with 8 different sounds, but like the modular kind and the big analog ones.

if not, you should

Ha, thanks, I've been thinking about making a CD-R once I have enough tracks to pick and choose from, I'll toss one your way if it ever happens.

sbm2k: Same goes for you, synths? nope, not yet. $$$$. I want an analog synth really bad. The intro has a synthy feel, but it's air organ and pedal manipulation creating most of that feel. The air organ kinda sucks because it's not in tune, I don't know why, but it's almost a half step sharp. The intro is in D(almost)# which was a paaaaiinn.

cool!
if you are handy with soldering, check out the Paia fatman
http://www.paia.com/fatman.asp
or the Paia 9700S
http://www.paia.com/p9700s.asp

they are pretty cheap (but you've got to build them yourself--or find someone to do it for you )

but i agree--most everything else is really expensive!

keep up the awesome music!

Are those synths completely analog?

you've succeeded once agan in frying any brain matter i have left. and i mean that as a complement! more downtempo than the last stuff i remember hearing from you. very cool vibe.

did you ever get that electric sitar? and while not analog i think i tried to egg you on to get a microkorg some months ago. TONS of sounds. but i do appreciate the beauty and tone of analog synths.

The sitar/synth are on hold until I have money...

I honestly don't foresee myself buying ANY new gear over a 100 bucks for a few years.

I'm trying not to research too much, because everytime I cruise ebay and see a cheap synth or sitar, and realize it's so far out of reach. Oh well, last semester of college, then I go into the real money making world.

Thanks for having your brain fried.
