I'll view at length and comment.
A couple of suggestions:
Once you've played the scale, try using little bits of it (3 and 4 notes in succession) to create a melody. Don't always start your lines on the Root-try the 3rd and so forth.
Remember, a fretless has a vocal quality to the note, don't feel like you have to play them all the same.
More later....
OK, got a chance to look at it more. You seem to be using the Dm7/D minor pentatonic/D dorian or natural minor scale. Try these as ways to create licks:
3 note sequences:
DFG/FGA/GAC/ACD (and retrograde)
4 note sequences:
DEFG/EFGA/FGAB/GABC/ABCD (and retrograde)
Different chord tone sequences:
DFAC/FACD/ACDF/CDFA etc.
Those should suggest some ideas to your ears. When you don't want to sound like a bass line, it's helpful to vary the rhythm a little and don't focus so much on the root. At this point a lot of listening to various players will open things up.
A couple of good books for ideas:
The Improvisor's Bass Method by Chuck Sher

The Music Lesson by Victor Wooten
Here's a clip of me playing a G minor Blues tune with my band. Check out the phrasing on the solo, rhythms vary, it's OK to play nothing and leave space, etc.

Best of luck and have fun!
