Trying to remember the name of a band...

....alternative/electric/indie-ish vein, sounded very new and fresh, somewhat similar to Phoenix in a lot of ways...

I remember the name being musically related, like The Metronometers.... or something, but I can't find what I'm looking for.

I swear I just heard them in a rap remix the other day at an outdoor event, but the dj had no idea who was in the track.

Any ideas? Shot in the dark here.

Mmm, thanks for the suggestion, but no. The group I'm thinking of had a bit more serious tone to it, less rowdy synth noises and such.

Also, it might not have started with an M (or The for that matter)... but I remember strongly the name having a basis in a musical term of some sort...
