Two new songs from my band.

Hi I will really appreciate if you could take your time to listen to the following two songs I have just recorded with my band. This is a rough mix and its saturating in some parts, specially in the beginning of one of the songs, but its so you can have an idea of how they sound. I am looking for your criticism to see if they are parts that can be improve, or change, sadly for the time being only things regarding the mix can be improve, it wont be possible to record the song again for now.

The first song is call De Repente, (Maybe), it is a cover of a song wrote by Venezuelan Musician and Composer Aldemaro Romero. The original song is approximately from the 70's and its kind of a jazz song with Venezuelan cultural music mix together. Our version is a funky cover. It was recorded using an mtd535.

The second song is call Nunca Pares, (Never Stop), that is an original song. I used my stingray 5 fretless for this one.

Both songs have a kind of disco, funky vibe going on, I hope you like them. By the way, both songs are sing in Spanish.

Thanks.

Both sound very dated, although the Nunca Pares sounds like Jamiriqua in a few spots. Very playing is nice, but it doesn't knock me flat. Your lines sound like stereotypical disco lines.

Music sounds fine, just not anything I enjoy.

Peace,
Adam

Thanks for the comments. Yep, Nunca Pares sounds like jamiro, even though I tried to make the bass lines different, it still sounded a little bit like it in some parts.
