Found out about Underminded at Warped. Never had heard of them before, but the show was amazing and the upcoming cd sounds extremely promising.
The scream reminds me a lot of deep raspy norma jean scream (especially live), but it's not as produced and fake. The music has tons of beautifully crafted hardcore breakdowns. The rhythms put the slight pauses in the perfect places. Also, the bassist was using a 68 jazz re-issue I think, and that didn't hurt at all.

BTW - The breakdown at 1:41 on Pablo Escobar's Secret Stash is just spectacular and definitely my favorite.
