The goofy electronic pennywhistle whatever at the end of Melissa Manchester's overproduced "Come In From The Rain". All that was necessary was her last three notes on that piano.

The 'whooo whooo' throughout all of "Sympathy for the Devil".
Great song turned into an annoyance.

This kind of addition to the song has more to do with entertainment than art. The idea is that the listener has something easy to catch and sing along.
This way he remembers the song better.
