Caught this awesome clip on TV over Xmas. Never heard of this jazz/rock band before and they're great! Check out the bass solo 2:05 in - How do you get a Jazz to sound like that??

Cool blast from the past, thanks. No clue about the rhythm section.

It seems he's favoring the neck pup, with flats and obviously a pick for that solo. That'd be a start.

Jeff Beck does alright for a guy who can't read a lick of music. I love his feel.
