Upright + Electric version of "Inner Urge"

If you get a chance, please check out this drum 'n' bass version i just made of Joe Henderson's "Inner Urge". Had a lot of fun making this and wanted to share it with you..

Thanks!

Sweet.

Awesome playing over a tune that I haven't heard done by too many people. I really dig the Upright and Electric bass mix. Great groove, phrasing and tone.

Is that an MTD?

Thanks! Yeah its a MTD ZX 5 string tuned EADGC. Really great instrument, super well balanced, and very warm sound from the custom Bartolini pickups.

Checked out your clip too. Nice fretless playing and cool vibe with the rain in the background What kind of bass is that?

The MTD sounds great, it's really defined and warm sounding.

Thanks! I play a Gary Willis bass signature bass, the original model with the ebony fretboard.

Very cool. I have a NS Bolin fretless 5 string bass with an ebony finger board. I Think ebony is the way to go for sure..
