Urban Gospel trio song ideas

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey UG players.

I'm looking for some song titles/ideas that would fit for starting off a worship set, that could be incorporated with just Keys, bass, drums and vocals.

Something groovin' and up tempo.

Thanks in advance

Really, all of it. If you have a choir, no one will miss horns or a rythmn guitar.

No choir. The funky keyboard player that runs our mens breakfast and has asked me to come up with a song.

Can ya throw me a song idea?

Fred Hammond's stuff would work well since it focuses on his voice instead of a choir. For a slow song, try "No Weapon." For fast songs, do "Let the Praise Begin," "I Want My Destiny," or "They That Wait on the Lord."

Go back even further and update an Andrae' Crouch and the Disciples tune.
'You Gave to Me' from This is Another Day (1976) or maybe 'I Didn't Think it Could Be' from 1973's Live at Carnegie Hall.
