Very quick recording based on 96 Quite Bitter Beings

So for anyone who's familiar with the song 96 Quite Bitter Beings by CKY (and yes, you have heard it before, you just don't know it), I was playing around with the riff and ended up bring it up two and half steps I think from the recording, as well as slowed it down. I decided to a quick recording to post on here before I went to bed.

This was done with my Spector Legend P/J, I think with the mostly the bridge pick up, through my Pod XT Live, adding flanger and some compression, into my computer. No amp modeling, I monitored out of my Fender Rumble 15.

Tell me what you think. I know my technique could use some work, but I just sorta freak out whenever I record for some reason. I seriously think if I had some acoustic guitar action, as well as someone with a good voice (I.E. not me), this could be expanded on and made to sound good.

It's just a really really awesome riff. I otherwise don't listen to them.

Thanks! I might actually do the whole song, with a guitar as well, if I didn't come home from school so freaking tired.
