People pay $7500 for those Yin Yang basses thinking they're going to sound like Vic, and there's Vic with a cheapo hollowbody sounding more like Vic than any 10 other guys with a Yin Yang bass.

Of course, Victor sounds great on anything, but TOTALLY different on this radically different sounding bass. I would also guess the phrasing and note choices are even impacted by this radical departure from his signature sound.
