Am I really the only one who think it needs more fluency/legato?

That is just totally destructive fretless tone. I have a fretless P and I love the way it sits in a mix, but I miss my fretless J/J setup because I will never be able to cop that tone again. Oh man, that is just such killer tone... 'gratz on the bass.

Oh, and nice playing too Your intonation is spot on.
