Video of my first gig, for Prog lovers

Well, first off, I'm quite new at this forum.
I'm also quite new at bass, playing for about 2 years (after moving from cello).

I performed in front of an audience for the first time ever (on bass, in general I was many times on stage when I played the cello). This a Progressive song that the Vocalist + Piano player wrote called "Exile".

Enjoy!

Edit: Btw, sound and picture qualities really suck, but please try to look around that and give some constructive criticism. Thanks!

sounds really weak, could just be due to poor recording quality

Would be interested to hear a studio version, it's kinda hard to give a fair critique without hearing everything. I heard some cool stuff, but it was hard to make a lot of stuff out.

Um, I actually think that even in this quality the song itself is pretty easy to make out, though the bassline(s) aren't (only the higher notes are audible, though if you boost the bass enough then you'll notice that a big part of the bass in the song is played relatively high up)

Also, we probably will record a studio version. Thank you for your comment!

I'm not talking about that, what I mean is, it sounds like everything is disconnected and reverberated: Like you are playing in a big auditorium (which it appears you are): There wasn't any clarity, it's not your fault or anyone in the band, it's the venue and the fact that this was probably recorded with the mic that was in the camera that recorded it.

Oh well, thank you.
Next time I'll try to get a better camera...

Also, our next gig is going to be outside, will that help the audio quality in the film(rather than the quality while in an auditorium)?

Thanks in advance.
