I was watching some of my bass videos I downloaded a while back.
I came across one with Victor Wooten and Carter Beauford in the beginning playing an awesome line. What's the name of that song that they are playing? I want to learn that bassline.
Thanks.

That song, im not really up on my jazz. Where have I heard that before? Has Dave Weckl done it, or is it on a Flecktones album? I know that song and its driving me nuts as I have no idea how I know it.

A great piece for anyone who thinks Vic is all chops with no substance. Guy knows his stuff! And his compositions are amazing, IMHO. Put my appreciation level of him up there with Miller and Pattitucci and Clarke. |

I own the VHS [actually bought it used off of someone here]. I like it a lot-i'm probably gonna end up buying it on DVD as the audio quality of the tape is quickly getting worse.

I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play...
What's crazy to me is how Carter a lot seems intimidated or hesitant. Shows you the respect the music community has for Vic when one of pop music's (hell ANY music's!) top drummer isn't playing first fiddle! |
