I've posted better quality videos of my performances from Solo Bass Night 1 and 3 at:

Hope you like them. They're far from perfect but better than nothing.

Dave, major respect and all over the classical stuff... I can't imagine playing those myself, I'm lacking in quite a bit of the skillz needed. It's just not my thing to listen too (most likely because I don't 'get' the classical thing in general).

I will say again here... I have saved to my drive all the unpronounceable you've ever shared and I listen to the stuff often! It's the exact type band situation I'm hoping to put together.

Thanks! I'll try to find more (unpronounceable) to put up. Actually, I have hundreds of hours of studio jams and improvs of which there has to be at least an hour or two of good stuff.

Have you checked out this:
http://www.unpronounceable.com/bargooma/

It's pretty much all pure improv except for a couple of things which were based on some existing grooves.

I've updated my YouTube channel a bit and fixed my playlists and stuff.

I have my complete Solo Bass Night performances from SBN 1 and 3 and a small cafe gig.

Dave - Your left hand technique is nice. You have small hands, like me, (fingerlength) but appear to have developed a your left spread and position to a large degree. I see you drop your left elbow when reaching for the low strings, which keeps your wrist straight(er). I need to practice that...I am nursing a little Left wrist tendon inflamation where I believe I have been lax on keeping that wrist as straight as possible.Your comments on your technique development appreciated!

Nice work Dave.

Thanks! When I have some time, I'll do a video and explain some of the details of the technique I've developed to play Bach. I've been doing it for over 10 years and some things I thought were impossible even 5 years ago, I can now do relatively easily. Though, there are still some really difficult passages. Thankfully the unplayable (or nearly) parts are very rare.

I haven't thought about it much but I think you're right about the straight wrist. I never have left-hand wrist pain.
