So I'm not just talking about you here, but the thing I don't get about some youtube videos is when people make a bunch of excuses for their playing. My favorite is the "I didn't practise it very much" one... maybe it wouldn't hurt to actually practise before posting, rather than spending that time making excuses for why it's sloppy? I just find it really funny. |

Just keep practising is all. And anyways, at least you're playing good tunes. I wish I was into Rush at 14... |

Check out that dude. He's got a lot of videos covering some Tool and just about nails all of J.C.'s parts. The dude's also got just about all of the same gear J.C. has.

Did you have a deadline for these videos? Why didn't you wait until you were feeling better and better practiced before uploading videos?
I'm not trying to be mean, but this is also a "excuses" comment that many you tubers make. It may shock you to know this, I don't have ANY videos of myself playing along to songs on Youtube... and I don't see a problem with that.
I'm listening to the Rush one, not too bad, but if you're not feeling good, don't record yourself... makes sense to me.

Its hard playing with nausea and a headache , i was more focused on recording them than playing them well, see i would normally take a few takes till the video is perfect, but i just recorded these during the first take, i would normall start again when i make a mistake, but i just wanted to record them, im removing these now and il repost them later.
wow thats a long sentence |

I still don't understand why I keep seeing videos that these kids post that have disclaimers. Why post it? I wouldn't say I'm a show off but I would only post something that was kickass and done really well. No excuses needed. I would post something that I am proud of. Not something I need to explain.
It's like telling a joke and explaining why it's funny and why you should laugh.
But I haven't watch your vidoes yet(im at work) so this isn't an attack on you.

Notice the number of knobs and the long oval. Height gives it away for me.
It looks like a bunch of pedals, not a unit.

Look through his videos. He goes through his setup. He's got a GK2001RB with Neo 4x12 and a pedalboard of death. in that vid he's got an Ampeg 610 though, which got replaced by the 412.
