After not listening to them for a while, I had forgotten how good a band they are. Anyone agree?

The small amount of Voivod I've heard has been good.
Any recommendations on albums to get?

The later the better with them I think, some of their older stuff is pretty raw and not in a good way, they definitely got better the longer they've been around. Try their title album (Voivod) and Katorz. I like them a lot because these are the two albums Jason Newsted is on.

Voivod is definitely a great band, I really enjoy their catalog of music... I do however enjoy their more raw stuff as well... IMO of course.
