Walk Through Space With Me (something I wrote, Warning: ambient and very spacey)

Here's something I wrote and recorded in two days a couple weeks back. It's is all bass, 12 or so tracks of it (some overlapping). It is 16 minutes long and really, really ****ing spacey*. It's something you sit and listen to, so I advise you do that. I've been meaning to remix it as some tracks are too loud and the overall volume is a bit low, however I haven't had time to do any editing.

(I know the intro sounds like the end on NIN-Closer, I however didn't intend on it, just happened... :/)

I still have some idea's for it, but I don't wanna go overkill... we'll see. BTW, I used my Ibanez fretless, EHX Big Muff, Bodd DD-3, and Whammy IV, that's it.

hmmm, I like, but you definately need to remix it(well re eq it would be a better term). The progression at the first does remind me a lot of nin, but hey trent doesn't have a copyright on that progression, and its not exactly like closer. Only complaints would be it is a little muddy sounding in parts, but when your workin with just a bass this tends to happen. I love geeking out on ambient stuff. I am a delay whore. Lately I've been runnin my bass through my microkorg, dial up a cool chord (on the microkorg synth), turn on some delay, etc... and geek out for hours. Cool stuff keep it up. edit: this really makes me want a whammy also. Then I could do cool pitch bends and play all the tool covers if you know what I'm talkin bout.

really cool man and a very appropriate thread title for it. i did indeed feel like i was space walking. sounds fantastic. i think if you came up with another variation on some of the riffs you could take this baby to 30 minutes with no problem. i'd be into it for sure.

Heh... I actually was gonna keep going. But any longer, wouldn't be able to upload it anywhere, nor get anyone to sit and listen to that. But that's what other songs are for, and I've got lot's of idea and more effects coming...
