Wanted to share this with you folks! (latin/jazz content)

Hey TBers!

I just wanted to share some recordings of a concert I did this past summer at the International Jazz Fest here in Ottawa. I was playing with an Argentinean woman doing her own compositions. Mostly, I'm reading charts, but there's a few places where I 'interpret' the music.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with my playing (only one really obvious mistake that I recall).
On the other hand, I'm really UNhappy with my tone! My Tobias bass was picking up some noise in active mode on this stage, so I had to play in passive mode which sounds really punchy and grindy (not the most appropriate tone for latin music!). I EQ'd some more depth in to my sound on stage and I had hoped that the recording engineer would EQ me a bit before the radio release, but I guess not... oh well.

Here's the page with the recordings:

I'd appreciate any feedback or comments you may have to offer.

Thanks!
