Hey - you got a cool vibe going on, really enjoying this one, a lot of work has gone into this. It's on my Creative Zen (no iPods here )

Salvation Army seems to have a Mighty, Mighty Bosstones feel about it. We Gotta Go is probably my fav.

Thanks for sharing - feel a bit of a fraud taking this for nothing though, you got a donation site or something?

I like it! "We Gotta Go" is a great opener for the album, totally set the sound and the pace for the other songs.

I might be wrong but I can vaguely hear hints of the Beatles in you guys, maybe not the Beatles specifically but the era during their later years. It's got that vibe to it in a couple of the songs. Also surfer rock and 70s rock vibe as well, mixed with more contemporary indie rock.

Your website doesn't say much about the band, are you going to put up a "about us" or "bio" page or something? It'd be great to read about your influences and history.

The only real criticism I have is to do with the mix - the vocals could be in the front of the mix a bit more, at the moment it sounds like it's just a little behind the guitars volume-wise. I'm listening through iTunes with a flat EQ. Maybe I'm biased but maybe the bass could be turned up by the smallest increment too.

Please don't take it as bad criticism, the album sounds great as a whole.

Back online!

We had some web hosting issues but the CD is still up on http://www.slackdaddy.com and yes, it is absolutely FREE! I would love to hear what you think. This record took 2 years to record
