Sunday night we had 2 guys and a girl over that wanted to record some traditional Tahitian drumming (fire dancing stuff). The weird thing is that on this island you can go to a luau any night of the week and hear it - and people go to classes to learn the dance - but NOBODY sells the music?! We're only like 4 hours from Tahiti, it's crazy. There's more cheesy reggae here than you can even imagine and we're nowhere near Jamaica. Anyway, this trio is an amazing act and people always ask them if they have cd's for sale. So...hopefully sometime soon we can mix it down and get them something they can actually sell. It was extremely interesting to watch them do their thing. If anybody wants to hear some of this let me know...
