What album release in the last 5 years had you the most excited ? Waiting for the release of Metallica's Death Magnetic has been without a doubt been the most exciting wait.

I'd say Planet X's "Quantum" was one that I eagerly awaited, but I was a tad upset when I found out Tony McAlpine wasn't playing on it. None the less, it was a decent cd but not as good as "Moonbabies" IMO.

Probably Disturbed's new one Indestructible.

Did Megadeths new one come out this year, or was it 07? That was a big one too.

Black Holes and and Revelations from Muse. I was a giddy little Fanboy when it was made available.

John Mayer Trio.

It was good, but not the hardcore blues album I was pulling for.

The new Maps and Atlases was awesome. I'd have to say that waiting for Moving Mountains - Foreword has been unbearable. I really can't keep waiting much longer.

Nine Inch Nails' record With Teeth was a HUGE DEAL for me...

It was an album that I kind of had to struggle to be really excited about when I listened to it a few times.

I'm still waiting for the new Glassjaw record. It's been like 2 years in the making, they performed some of the new songs on their late 2006 tour and I'm still waiting for the damn album. At last estimates, it might be done early 2009.
